14th Annual Golf Classic

About the event:

This event is a premier tournament in the region! Money raised supports our Reach Out for Youth scholarship program. Funds are distributed locally to financially challenged families, who are then able to participate in valuable YMCA programs and services. While all are welcome to join the Capital District YMCA, funds distributed through our Reach Out for Youth scholarship program target children and their families. We provide those in need with a healthy environment, giving them the opportunity of a lifetime, to learn to swim, attend camp, and do much more, while instilling the YMCA’s core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.

Format:

Morning Tournament (limited to 100 golfers): Individual best ball. Upon registration of your entry, you must supply us with your USGA handicap or GHIN Index. If no handicap is provided you will be placed in the Calloway division.

Afternoon Tournament (limited to 144 golfers):4 Person Scramble

Tee Times: 7:30 am and 1:00 pm shotgun starts. Morning round is limited to 100 golfers.

Prizes: Prizes are awarded in several categories for both women and men including low net, low gross and one overall team winner.

Club: Proper golf attire and soft spikes required.

Individuals ($225) and Four-somes ($900)
Open enrollment for individuals and four-somes will begin on June 12, if space is available. Priority is given to sponsors on a first come first served basis. If you are interested in playing as an individual or in a foursome, please call Colleen Keating on or after June 12.
