1970's-80's

In the 1970's Segowea fully integrated female campers into each
session of camp. Making friends, character development and participating in
activities with cabin mates were a main focus along with an
increase in unit and all-camp games as well as off-site hiking, biking and
canoe trips.

Segowea was blessed with many directors during these decades each
bringing their unique gifts and leadership to camp. At the helm early on were
Joe Crevino, Frank Berlin, Art Everitt before tenures began to lengthen under
Dave "Skip" Falk, John Fisher, Bruce Barmak and Jack Stacio.
