Health and FitnessHealth and Fitness

Our Priority

Health and Fitness Programs should reach out to people of all ages and abilities, giving them opportunities to live healthier more productive lives. Our emphasis is one of prevention, wellness, and fun, with our philosophy organized around the principle that there is a oneness of spirit, mind, and body.

The YMCA approaches health and fitness as a component of our mission to build healthier people and stronger communities. Our staff and volunteers provide more than just exercise programs. Health and Wellness education, Youth and Family classes, Volunteer opportunities for members, and promoting Character Development values, help to define our YMCA’s purpose.

The pursuit of Optimal Wellness is our passion - Creating a positive experience in the lives of people is our Vision.
