YMCA Day Camp - General Info
Camp Objectives
Capital District YMCA Summer Camps provide an opportunity to:
- Have fun and adventure in a safe environment.
- Enhance individual character and moral development.
- Develop new skills and interest and have new experiences.
- Develop a respect for the nature world and work for its conservation.
- Develop new friendships and social skills and learn about team work
and group responsibility.
- Develop an appreciation of self-worth and self-expression.
- Develop a sense of cultural appreciation and work for worldwide understanding.
Camping Philosophy
The YMCA strives to deliver high quality camping
programs that will provide participants with the "Experience of a
Lifetime: in a safe, educational, and fun environment."

CAMP HOURS
Hours: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
EXTENDED CAMP CARE
Our staff is available for Extended Camp Care from: 7:00-8:30 am & 4:30-6:00
pm
Fees:
$15/child/week AM or PM
$30/child/week AM & PM
CAMP FEE’S
Camp Fees: Members: Weeks 1-9: $130
Program Members:
Weeks 1-9: $165
*Please note there is an additional annual fee of $50 per program member.
Deposit: $40/week/child (non-refundable, non-transferable, & applied to
weekly fees.)
What to Wear & Bring
T-Shirts, shorts & sneakers are the uniform of the day. Your child should
bring:
- A jacket or sweatshirt
- Bathing Suit
- Towel
- Sunscreen
- Water Bottle
- Sun or Baseball Cap
- Backpack
- Lunch (non-perishable foods)
- Extra snack.
- Video Games/Electronics or Trading cards are Not Allowed!
